About MSHPH
MSHPH was established in 2025 by a group of passionate hypnotherapists, hypnotists, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioners, with the aim of advancing the field of hypnosis and hypnotherapy in Malaysia
Vision
To become the most authoritative and trusted hypnosis and hypnotherapy association in Malaysia
Mission
01: To serve as the leading representative voice in the field of hypnosis and hypnotherapy in Malaysia
02: To connect and support hypnotherapists and hypnotists across Malaysia
03: To enhance the knowledge and skills of hypnotherapists and hypnotists in Malaysia
04: To increase public awareness and understanding of hypnosis and hypnotherapy in Malaysia
Objectives

01: To unite all hypnotherapists and hypnotists in Malaysia, regardless of their training level, educational background, or experience
02: To enhance members' knowledge and skills in accordance with Malaysia's National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS) and international standards
03: To provide support for members and protect their rights as hypnotherapists and hypnotists in Malaysia
04: To uphold the good reputation of hypnosis and hypnotherapy
05: To certify hypnosis and hypnotherapy training providers, ensuring they maintain professionalism and ethical standards in providing training to members and the public
06: To organize Continuing Professional Development (CPD) trainings related to hypnosis and hypnotherapy

Type of Membership
Note: Please refer to Clause 4 of the MSHPH's Constitution(Click here)
01 Honorary Member (HM)
Only for individuals who have contributed to society/community and can contribute to MSHPH; determined by the Committee members and no payment is required
02 Lifetime Member (LM)
Only applicable to OM members who have paid the one-time lifetime fee of RM50
03 Ordinary Member (OM)
Membership Eligibility Criteria
i. Malaysian
ii. 18 years old and above
iii. Reside in Malaysia
iv. All ethnicities
v. All genders
vi. All religions
vii. Other Criteria: Hold a Certified Hypnotherapist or Certified NLP Practitioner certificate issued by a hypnosis training provider recognized by MSHPH
Or
Hold a Certified Hypnotherapist or Certified NLP Practitioner certificate from any local or international hypnosis association or certifying body
IMPORTANT: The scope of practice for each member depends on the training they have received
04 Associate Member (AM)
Anyone (Overseas Hypnotherapist, Hypnosis Enthusiast, etc), Anyone who does not meet the eligibility criteria for Ordinary Member
05 Youth Member (YM)
Below 18 years old, MUST get parent's written consent
